TEST BENCH LEADER Purpose of the Job - Define and implement the most appropriate Tests Benches for the Traction Validation Project - Define and implement the most appropriate device for CAPEX needs - Define and realize the most appropriate actions for the maintainability issues - Produce a complete technical file for every technical deliverable Position in the Organisation Organisation Reporting Hierarchical and Functional : He/she reports to the Test Laboratory Manager Network & Links Internal Interfaces : Project Validation Manager, TTL - Test team Leader, Validation Engineers, Test Laboratory Manager, Test Engineers External Interfaces : Subcontractors, Suppliers Missions Performance Measurement/KPI’s Timely execution of the test benches building following the requirements of the Traction Validation Project Responsibilities Accountable for: - Defining the most appropriate device (test bench) in accordance with Validation Test requirements & within the costs time and pass-fail criterion set for the test - Guarantying the great functionality of the devices and is relevant in case of trouble shooting on its bench Responsible for: - Specifying and designing Tests Benches (Hard and Soft) for investigation or Validation activities in the Traction Scope. - Specifying and designing devices for CAPEX requirements - Managing Test Bench production (support for realization) - Managing QCD objectives for Test Bench deliverables - Managing the commissioning and the receipt of the Test Bench - Specifying and performing the maintenance of devices - Producing a complete technical file for every technical deliverables - REX capitalisation, in accordance with the Skill Leader process - Appling ALSTOM CV process - Respecting EHS rules notably implementing “LockOut-TagOut” instruction. Job Specifications Knowledge & Experience Technician diploma (Test technician) Mechanical / Electro-technical / Electrical knowledge Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools Ability to define, create and maintain test benches Experienced in international working environment Experienced in dealing with interface functions Experience in Railway testing is a plus Italian is mandatory English Innovation Shall input REX from Validation standpoint notably on validation methods/tools improvement (from a quality, duration and cost point of view) on his/her scope of activities in particular to decrease the time spent on trains You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
