What You Can Expect
The role supports the regulatory team by preparing documentation and participating in submissions of plant protection products, providing technical knowledge to analyze and interpret data within the regulatory framework.
The Regulatory Specialist reports to the Italian Regulatory Affairs Manager and is a member of the European Regulatory Affairs Team.
Your responsibilities include:
* Assisting in preparing and compiling regulatory documentation for the registration of plant protection products as part of a project team.
* Supporting the submission of plant protection product applications (administrative, change of classification, mutual recognition, art.51 and art.53) to regulatory authorities in Italy and Malta, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
* Developing relationships with regulatory authorities to facilitate submissions and approvals.
* Securing correct labelling (artwork), digital labelling, MSDS compliance, PCN notification, and supporting registration maintenance.
* Representing ADAMA in relevant official bodies, authorities, and national associations.
* Maintaining internal databases and proper information storage.
* Supporting the Financial department in regulatory quarterly cost reporting.
What We Expect
* Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field, or equivalent.
* Ideally 1-2 years of experience (or internship) in a regulatory or compliance role, preferably in the agricultural, plant protection, or chemical industry.
* Familiarity with regulatory submission processes for plant protection products is preferred.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
