Accountable for the store and PlanOrder Points layout, range presentation and store communication thereby contributing to positioning the IKEA Brand as the leader in life at home. /p h3What you'll be doing day to day /h3 ul liLead and inspire the store team (Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design and Interior Design) to use knowledge of home furnishing and people's life at home to grow the business. /li liPartner with the Commercial Manager to stimulate and increase interest in home furnishing for all co-workers in the store. /li liSecure vitality and seasonality in the store by creating and implementing a store commercial calendar together with the store management team. /li liKeep up to date and knowledgeable about retailing, home furnishing and trends and retail design in order to support the Commercial Manager to facilitate workshops that generate creative directions that inspire and surprise visitors with a strong visual impression. /li liActively support in the development of the department action plan with interior design initiatives and using layout as a commercial tool as well as range presentation and vitality initiatives. /li liLead the store team in securing relevant and inspiring range presentation solutions, an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication that builds the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA retailers from the competition. /li liSecure that the store commercial team has the right understanding of store layout, range presentation and store communication thereby contributing to the work method for range presentation. /li liContribute with knowledge of people's life at home and consumer shopping behaviour in the creation and implementation of the store business plan. /li liIdentify current and future business needs in order to recruit, develop and retain a high performing and passionate store team. /li liLead and challenge the team to constantly take actions that exploit commercial opportunities both in the short- and long term. /li /ul h3What you'll need to have /h3 ul liPrevious experience in retail area (Visual Merchandising, Retail Design or store planning) /li liExperienced in inspiring, leading and developing people and creative processes in a changing environment /li liComputer proficient with knowledge and experience of using relevant software (ideally AutoCad and Revit) /li liAbility to work together with a cross-functional team (Sales, Logistics, Customer Relations) /li liBe a creative leader by in initiating and facilitating workshops to generate creative directions. /li liProven customer-focused mindset /li liDemonstrate clear communication and coaching skills /li liSet and implement action plans, set expectations, provide clear direction and follow up goals /li liProven ability to prioritise and organise work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of time available and meet agreed goals and deadlines /li liProblem solving attitude /liliAbility to combine and identify commercial, aesthetic and practical skills /li liAbility to create a trustful and creative environment /li liGood Knowledge of Italian and English languages /li /ul pWhere others see home furnishing products, we see smart solutions to create a better everyday life.
