Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible. /p h3Your role /h3 pWe are looking for a Process Engineer who will join the Process Engineering Team of EssilorLuxottica, specifically as a Process Expert for Surface Modification Treatments. /p h3Main responsibilities /h3 ul liWork on Surface Modification Treatments, like Polishing and Barreling, to solve issues and perform process improvements, both for metal and plastic. /li liDefine and work on technological roadmaps for Surface Modification processes. /li liCollaborate with suppliers for new process introduction. /li liActively collaborate to process standardization across the whole organization, globally. /li liIdentify and execute cost savings initiatives. /li liAct as a consultant for Surfaces related topic for all other specialists internally in the team or even externally across the organization. /li liSupport all the technical streams (Metal, Acetate, Injected frames) for processes improvements and initiatives. /li /ul h3Main requirements /h3 ul liEducational Background in Materials or Mechanical Engineering. /li liExperience with Surface Treatments in manufacturing. /li liExperience in Surface Conditioning Treatments processes. /li liBase knowledge of Topography and Surface Analysis. /li liDeep knowledge of surface conditioning processes like barreling and polishing. /li liBase knowledge of Metrology. /li liSolid knowledge of MS Office suite. /li liEnglish and Italian proficiencies. /li /ul h3What’s in it for you /h3 pIn EssilorLuxottica, you are not defined just by your job title.
