By proactively keeping them safe, you’ll also empower them to feel confident in their roles and motivated to do their best work. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliMonitor site performance against set KPIs and create plans to improve processes /liliSet up workplace health and safety programmes and arrange training sessions /liliAnalyse safety metrics and incident trends to help colleagues plan appropriate resources for areas with the highest risk /liliCarry out audits to make sure your site is compliant with relevant health and safety laws and implement solutions where you identify risks /li /ulh3A day in the life /h3pYou’ll be based on location at one of our sites, which could be one of our fulfilment centres, sortation centres or delivery stations. Being on site means that you can keep a close eye on the processes. As well as helping us stay on top of health and safety compliance, you’ll spot potential issues and identify opportunities for improvement. That means working closely with people across the business to get to know the risks they experience and gathering data to identify smarter and safer ways that we can work. You’ll also set up training and other programmes to help everyone follow new safety processes and reach new standards. /ph3About the team /h3pWe’re a team of 7 that take care about those that take care about our customers. WHS Specialist 5 WHS Technicians report to WHS Manager who leads the team on Insisting on the Highest Standards on the daily job. /pulliA Bachelor degree or equivalent level of qualification in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) /liliASPP or RSPP certified /liliUnderstanding of Italian Environment, Health and Safety legislation /liliAdvanced proficiency in local language and English /li /ulpPreferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
