As a Senior RME Technician you will help keep Amazon at the cutting edge by adopting innovative technologies and finding new ways to work with maximum efficiency. The role involves diligent monitoring of processes to ensure compliance with our high standards and improving existing standards through ad hoc updates. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liDemonstrate best practices for safe equipment use and monitor teams to ensure adherence to correct processes. /li liMonitor equipment performance through visual inspections, condition-based monitoring, and preventive maintenance, scheduling extraordinary maintenance if needed. /li liSupervise technical staff during shifts, fostering their development and acting as the main point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers. /li liResolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and enable the fastest possible order processing. /li liAssist in defining continuous improvement strategies for systems and standardizing processes across our European network. /li /ul h3A day in the life /h3 pAcross all shifts, you will guide your team, ensuring everyone has the necessary equipment in perfect working order. You’ll monitor processes, enforce regulatory compliance and policy, and conduct preventive maintenance to extend equipment life. Based on observations during shifts, you will propose improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, then implement them in the role across all European sites. You will also monitor processes with tools such as SCADA to guarantee performance and collaborate closely with line managers on administrative tasks. Work takes place in one of our operating centers and will be scheduled on shifts, sometimes during weekends and nights. /p h3About the team /h3 pOur focus is on creative thinking and continuous improvement to ensure millions of products reach customers’ hands. The team is people-oriented, ready to lend a hand especially to night shift colleagues. We concentrate primarily on operations with 24/7 shifts in most of our sites. /p h3BASIC QUALIFICATIONS /h3 ul liProfessional experience in electrical and mechanical fields. /li liExperience in automation or contexts involving material handling machinery. /li liAdvanced Italian language skills, both spoken and written; basic English knowledge. /li liDemonstrated ability to supervise and influence a team. /li /ul h3PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS /h3 ul liProven multi-tasking ability and setting priorities across multiple projects and workloads. /li liExperience managing suppliers and contractors. /li liUnderstanding of PLC-based control systems and compliance with regulatory requirements. /li liExperience with computerized maintenance management systems for proactive maintenance planning and record keeping. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
