Responsibilities
* Direct and supervise team members to ensure smooth food production and delivery.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of culinary terms and practices.
* Develop and implement recipes that meet quality and consistency standards.
* Coordinate and delegate tasks to staff members.
* Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and supplies.
* Analyze operational problems and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications and Skills
* A minimum of 8 years of experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment.
* Culinary school degree required.
* Strong management skills, including communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits.
* Intermediate computer software skills.
