Joining a high calibre team based in Milan, you will take ownership for the analysis and control of the group's financial health and performance as the business continues to grow. The Role Optimize economic performance of the business by setting up new revenue initiatives, controlling operating costs and optimizing the capital structure of the group Plan fund cashflows and manage capital calls and distribution notices with both investors and target assets Build and manage a team responsible for all financial and accounting functions of an international company, driving smooth cooperation with all company stakeholders Oversee the financial health and financial performance of the group, producing, and performing analyses of all financial statements and reports, overseeing, and participating in audits, and making recommendations to the executive team, management and supervisory boards concerning current and future financial performance, including the definition and oversight of budget and business plan Define and execute all financial processes, their integration and alignment with other related processes within and outside of the company. Automate finance processes as a true tech first business (in cooperation with our internal tech division) Coordinate and handle requests from investors, financial authorities, external service providers (e.g., fund manager, auditor, depositary, tax advisors) as well as internal stakeholders Compliance with all financial legal requirements, financial statements, financial reports, and tax returns according to applicable jurisdiction the company does business Conduct accounting, budgeting and monitoring activities for a Luxembourg alternative investment fund ("AIF") as well as for internal group Coordinate with Tech team to automate fund operations processes Requirements 6 years' experience of commercial finance management, ideally in a fast growth environment Experience with private equity funds Project Management Excellent analytical skills and well-developed attention to detail Very strong academic track record Comfortable understanding of financial and performance terminology Excellent written and verbal communication skills High ambition, commitment, and willingness to learn Team player and humble attitude Extremely fast learner, flexible and highly analytical mindset An excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller to join this growing alternative investment fund manager in a commercial role.
