M&A; & Corporate Development Analyst
The candidate will be part of the M&A; and Corporate Development team, responsible for generating, structuring, managing and executing mergers, acquisitions, and other key strategic corporate development projects.
Main responsibilities Conduct in-depth market analysis and benchmarking Develop detailed corporate research and analysis based on financial statements, financial and business modelling Perform company valuations using the main valuation methodologies Build complex financial models to support deal structuring Preparation of internal and external presentation (investment decks, management presentation, market presentation) Support in managing the complete M&A; process, from project management to due diligence and preparation/execution of legal documentation Work with other corporate functions (e.g. legal, accounting, control, etc.) in designing and implementing M&A; and other corporate development/finance activities Capabilities Outstanding analytical and financial modelling skills Solid knowledge of the relevant M&A; and corporate finance tools (e.g. valuation methodologies, financial modelling, etc.) Clear understanding of business and corporate finance principles Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Familiarity with financial data providers (Factset/Bloomberg) is a plus Skills Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously Good time management and organisational skills Reliability and flexibility Rigorous attention to detail Ability to adapt to and work in a corporate environment
Education and Work Experience Degree in finance/economics/management 1-3 years of prior relevant experience (M&A;/valuation in corporate, advisory or financial institutions) Proficiency in Italian and English
