A global organisation undergoing a multi-phase HR transformation and Greenfield Workday implementation is looking for a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant to join their growing HRIS team.
This is a fully remote, permanent role (Italy or Spain based). You'll take the lead in configuring and optimising the Time Tracking & Absence modules, collaborating with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner.

About the Role:
This hands-on position will see you actively configuring Workday, shaping business processes, and ensuring a successful rollout of Time Tracking & Absence functionality as part of a wider transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the functional and configuration lead for Workday Time Tracking & Absence
Design, configure, and test business processes in partnership with Workday consultants and internal teams
Translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations
Execute core configuration tasks (eligibility rules, time codes, accruals, etc.)
Support integration with time clocks, payroll, and third-party tools
Lead SIT, UAT, and parallel testing
Create training documentation and provide user training
Deliver post-go-live support and knowledge transfer to internal teams
✅ Skills & Experience
4–5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience (Time Tracking & Absence)
Workday implementation experience (in-house or consulting)
Strong understanding of HR/time/absence business processes and compliance
Ability to work independently on complex configurations
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
