An international industrial company is seeking a Local IT Administrator to ensure day-to-day IT operations and maintain local infrastructure across its European sites.
This is a hands-on, operational role requiring strong technical autonomy. You'll be the go-to IT contact on-site, managing everything from user support to local servers and network equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide daily technical support: troubleshoot hardware/software issues, configure workstations for new hires, resolve printer and connectivity problems
* Manage and maintain local IT infrastructure: servers, backups, disaster recovery plans, local network equipment
* Manage IT inventory: PCs, licenses, patches, software versions
* Create application packages and adapt configurations to local needs
* Train users on collaborative tools and IT best practices
* Handle ticket management (assignment, tracking, documentation, closure)
* Coordinate with local vendors (e.g., telecom providers) for contracts and support
* Collaborate with Group IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Profile Sought
* Technical degree in IT/Computer Science
* Min 6 years of experience in IT support and/or infrastructure roles
* Strong knowledge of Windows environments, server administration, and network basics
* Familiarity with ITIL practices is a strong plus
* Ability to work autonomously, diagnose issues, and implement solutions independently
* Structured, proactive, and service-oriented mindset
