Job Description:Algorithm Engineer (Deep Learning & Embedded Systems) We are working closely with a market-leading 3D scanning company based in Bressanone, seeking a talented Algorithm Engineer to join their team.
This role involves leveraging state-of-the-art Computer Vision and Machine Learning techniques to scan high-quality, relightable 3D models of objects and products at scale.
Their 3D scanners are used globally by clients such as Meta, Adidas, NUREG, Inditex (ZARA, Massimo Dutti), Gucci, Salomon, Quad, and other leading brands, content creation studios, and tech companies to produce tens of thousands of 3D assets annually.
You will work with neural inverse rendering to advance their 3D scanning technology.
Responsibilities as Algorithm Engineer: Implement state-of-the-art algorithms and neural networks into reliable industrial products.Optimize performance across CPU and GPU platforms.Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient production code.Collaborate with software engineers, machine learning experts, system developers, and researchers, actively proposing solutions.Engage with a global client base (e.g., Meta, Adidas, Inditex, Quad) to gather requirements and feedback.Requirements: Master's degree in computer science or a related field.Strong programming skills (Python, C++, or similar).Experience with GPU architecture and programming (e.g., CUDA, TensorRT).Proven experience in Neural Inverse Rendering (e.g., NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, Material Decomposition).Expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and differentiable rendering frameworks.Ability to solve complex problems and contribute innovative solutions.Experience with image processing, computer graphics, and classical CV/ML techniques.Experience with Generative AI models for 3D.Knowledge of SfM, multi-view geometry, structured light, point cloud, and mesh processing.Key Words: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Algorithm Development, 3D Vision, CUDA, AI, 3D Modelling, MLOps, SfM, NeRF, Rendering, Python, C++
