As part of our journey to becoming an Ocean Positive brand, we strive to use environmentally responsible materials that strike the balance between sustainability, functionality, and purpose, so we can plot—and steer—the course to a cleaner, healthier ocean, and preserve it for future generations. /ppJob Purpose /ppThe Credit Collector is responsible for managing the collection of outstanding accounts receivable from customers, ensuring timely payments, minimizing credit risk, and maintaining positive customer relationships in alignment with company policies and procedures. /ppKey Responsibilities /pulliMonitor the accounts receivable ledger to identify overdue accounts. /liliContact customers via phone, email, or other channels to follow up on unpaid invoices. /liliNegotiate payment arrangements in accordance with internal guidelines. /liliRecord and maintain all collection activities and customer interactions in the appropriate systems. /liliCoordinate with the Sales, Customer Service, and Finance departments to resolve invoice-related issues. /liliSupport the preparation of monthly aging reports and collection forecasts. /liliEscalate high-risk accounts in line with internal escalation protocols. /liliAssist in the assessment of customer creditworthiness when necessary. /li /ulpRequirements /pulliProven 5+ years' experience in credit collection, accounts receivable, or a similar finance-related role. /liliSolid understanding of credit and collection procedures. /liliStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills. /liliAccuracy and attention to detail. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle). /liliGood command of written and spoken English; Spanish and French are a plus. /li /ulpPreferred Qualifications /pulliBackground in working with international clients. /liliExperience in the apparel sector. /liliKnowledge of local and international credit and collection regulations. /li /ulpNorth Sails Apparel is an equal opportunity employer. /ppIf you think you meet some of our desired qualifications for this role, but not all of them, we still encourage you to apply! /p
