Assistant Professor – ERLER Group – BRIC The Erler lab at BRIC is seeking a highly motivated and innovative researcher at the Assistant Professor level for a 1-year position commencing on 1 January ****. Research Focus We focus on understanding how cancer spreads through the body – metastasis – which is responsible for most cancer patient deaths. Our interdisciplinary approach addresses clinically relevant questions with a strong focus on teamwork, diversity, and inclusion. Your Job The assistant professor should be highly skilled at cloning and cell biology, with a strong track record in researching the extracellular matrix in cancer and experience in RNA biology. Responsibilities Research, including publication and academic dissemination duties Research-based teaching, including mentoring and supervision of PhD students and others, as well as teaching master's and undergraduate courses Sharing knowledge with society Participation in a formal pedagogical training programme for assistant professors Contribute to common activities at BRIC and at Faculty level Profile Six overall criteria apply for assistant professor appointments at the University of Copenhagen: research, teaching, societal impact, organisational contribution, external funding, and leadership.
