IT Support Specialist
Location: Rome, Italy
Type: Full-time
Hours: 8 hours per day
Skills & Description: BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a full-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Italy.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues.
2. Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
3. Maintain ticket updates for reported incidents.
4. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010.
5. Support Cisco Jabber and basic Mac OS to assist Apple PC users.
6. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and hardware.
7. Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
8. Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
9. Use diagnostic tools for network and hardware/software troubleshooting.
10. Have broad IT knowledge including networks, servers, audio/visual, smart devices, and telecoms.
11. Work flexibly in project-based environments requiring teamwork.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Valid work permit.
* Extensive IT and computer knowledge.
* Several years of professional user support experience and solution evaluation/design.
* Knowledge of the local language at B1 level.
