Reporting to
Procurement Team Lead
Responsibilities
* Registration and qualification of new suppliers on the dedicated platform.
* Initiating Purchase Orders in the system according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, confirming delivery, monitoring and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements and guaranteeing product quality conformity.
* Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing price lists and terms and conditions.
* Managing suppliers' frame agreements according to ABB procedures.
* Analyzing and evaluating quotations to determine the optimal value.
* Analyzing cost breakdown of purchased items in order to search for new cost‑efficiency actions.
Qualifications
* You just graduated in Management Engineering, Economics or Mechanical Engineering.
* Very good knowledge of English (level B2/C1) and Italian, written and spoken.
* Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Knowledge of SAP and Power BI would be considered a plus.
* Strong proactivity and willingness to take initiative, curiosity and interest in exploring new solutions and approaches. Constructive approach to teamwork, fostering positive relationships and shared success.
* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage different tasks, good communication skills.
