TXT e-Tech is looking for a dedicated, motivated and skilled Aircraft Technical Publications Specialist to join the aerospace team in Cologno Monzese, with a strong background in development of aircraft manuals and technical writing.
The role will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining a range of technical documents in compliance with industry standards (S1000D) and regulations, also mastering 2D and 3D illustrations and graphic design.
Main Activities:
Create, compile, and maintain comprehensive and accurate technical documents such as Electronic Flight Bag Manuals (EFBM), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Wiring Diagrams and other related technical publications;
Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and regulations, such as S1000D, relevant to the technical publications being developed;
Develop content based on engineering data, user and stakeholder requirements, and feedback, translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation;
Regularly review and update technical documents to ensure they remain accurate and up-to-date with the latest technical data, change requests, and feedback;
Perform thorough quality checks on all technical publications for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to standards;
Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other subject matter experts to gather necessary technical information and clarify complex technical concepts;
Create and incorporate relevant illustrations, diagrams, and graphics to enhance the understanding and visual appeal of the technical documents;
Manage document versions and revisions, ensuring proper archiving and easy retrieval of current and historical versions;
Liaise with stakeholders, project managers and members of the technical team to ensure that the documentation meets needs and expectations.
Indispensable technical skills:
Proven experience in technical publications, preferably in the aviation or aerospace industry;
Familiarity with S1000D and other relevant standards;
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
Proficiency in document creation and 2D/3D graphic design tools (Microsoft Visio, Adobe Illustrator, Autodesk Autocad or equivalent tools);
Knowledge of XML filed documents;
Competence in researching technical topics and interpreting engineering data.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, communication skills in order to collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts and other stakeholders complete the profile.
