Job Title : Fleet Support Center Engineer
Purpose of the Job :
* Provide real-time technical support to train drivers and operations teams in case of faults during locomotive service.
* Monitor locomotive systems remotely and respond promptly to operational anomalies.
* Coordinate with traffic control and fleet management to manage locomotive availability and service recovery.
* Provide clear and accurate instructions or guidance based on established protocols and procedures.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to railway equipment, providing timely solutions and support to off-site technical interventions.
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation of off-site maintenance activities, including findings and recommendations.
* Analyze incidents and support post-event investigations to determine technical causes.
* Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to support repairs and maintenance work.
* Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Conduct field inspections, special checks, and assessments of rolling stock (locomotives).
* Review fleet failures, downtime reports, and equipment histories to identify recurring operational problems. Utilize continuous improvement tools to implement solutions, supporting the Reliability Growth team.
Responsibilities :
* Participate in critical task forces dedicated to troubleshooting as needed.
* Define standard rules to analyze train diagnostic data.
* Establish standard sheets for troubleshooting during operational outages.
* Design diagnostic algorithms in collaboration with the engineering team.
Organizational Reporting :
* Hierarchical reporting to the Fleet Support Center Manager.

Educational Requirements :
* Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) or proven experience in railway maintenance and operations.
Technical Knowledge / Experience :
* Experience in Train Monitoring System development, validation, or commissioning.
* Experience at the system level in railway industries or large industrial plants (power, naval, etc.).
* Proficiency with business analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
* Experience in customer service or technical support, preferably in transportation or railway environments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
* Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations in railway operations.
* Data-driven decision-making skills.
