BIP Law & Tax is the tax and legal arm of the BIP group, one of the fastest growing technology consulting practices in Europe. It was born to offer a new approach to providing tax and legal services, integrating technical competences with technology and innovation. xTax is the service offering within BIP Law & Tax that covers a wide range of tax technology, transformation and innovation services. We work with some of the largest domestic and international clients supporting them through all the phases of their growth, end to end. You will work closely with industry leaders that have gained remarkable experience by working in Big 4 professional services and in house, and will contribute to the creation of this service offering and the success of BIP Law & Tax in the market. Role Tax Technology Specialist / Tax Solution Architect Responsibilities As a Tax Technology Specialist / Tax Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and international expansion of our xTax service line. You will be responsible for designing and implementing technology-enabled tax solutions that help our clients transform their tax and legal functions. You will bridge the gap between tax technical requirements and enterprise technology platforms (ERPs, EPMs, AI, RPAs, data platforms), ensuring that tax processes are embedded end-to-end within finance and business operations. The qualities and characteristics that make you a good fit for this role are Translate tax and regulatory requirements (e.g. Pillar 2, Public CbCR, Operational Transfer Pricing, SAF-T, e-invoicing, Tax Control Framework) into technical and process solutions. Lead the design and architecture of digital tax solutions, covering ERP / EPM, AI-driven tax automation, and integration of tax processes into enterprise systems. Act as solution owner in transformation projects, guiding both client stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Collaborate closely with tax experts, engineers, and business consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions. Define solution blueprints, integration points, and technical architecture documentation. Support business development: contribute to proposals, demos, and thought leadership on tax technology innovation. Ensure solutions align with compliance, risk management, and ESG-linked transparency requirements. Act as the focal point that connects our xTax services offering with other service lines in BIP Law & Tax and BIP Group. Act as mentor to consultants and analysts in the Tax Technology team, building capability across the practice. Contribute to building a culture of trust and collaboration across all grades. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in tax technology or finance transformation projects, ideally within consulting or a corporate / finance function. Strong background in ERP / EPM transformation (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Tagetik or equivalent), with specific exposure to tax modules and compliance requirements. Understanding of direct and indirect tax processes, transfer pricing, tax reporting, and regulatory frameworks. Ability to design data architectures for tax: data models, reporting structures, automation, and control frameworks. Knowledge of automation tools (UiPath, Power Platform, Tableau, etc.) is a strong plus. Strong communication skills: ability to translate technical designs into business language and vice versa.
