Our client company is a major multinational operating in the mechanical components sector. For its Italian site, we are looking for the:
PLANT MANAGER
who will be accountable for and coordinate all business operations within the plant. Responsibilities include directing and supervising the manufacturing, engineering, safety, finance, maintenance, logistic, purchasing functions.
Main responsibilities:
• Coordinates and directs the manufacturing activities of plant operations to ensure that all financial and market area initiatives are met.
• Responsible for P&L of the plant operations according to the assigned budget and targets.
• Assures that all products meet company quality standards. Assures that maintenance procedures are developed and adhered to.
• Develops and implements short and long-range Continuous Improvement program and initiatives.
• Supervises, trains and coaches manufacturing management to include responsibility for personnel and labor issues throughout the plant.
• Key contact position at plant for policies, strategic initiatives, and issue resolution.
Skills:
• Leadership knowledge and experience in manufacturing operations with emphasis on lean and efficient workflow;
• Significant manufacturing experience demonstrating a self-starting and hands-on quality;
• Fully proficient level critical thinking and problem-solving skills required;
• Proficiency level in written and spoken English.
