The Quality Controller reports to the Quality Manager. The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality and hygiene of the final product, in accordance with company standards and procedures. The role of Quality Controller involves the following activities: HSE Standards: Maintain order, organization, and cleanliness in all assigned areas, following proper workplace hygiene practices to set an example for others; Manage waste disposal processes, including liaising with suppliers, documentation, and tracking systems; Support the Plant Manager and HSE Manager in monitoring the implementation of effective policies; Assist the HSE Manager in conducting regular risk assessments of the working environment. Quality Checks: Perform controls according to the quality control plan for each product, including during technical interventions and product industrializations, using lab instruments such as scales, calipers, thickness gauges, top load testers, and torque meters; Sort defective bottles, contribute to decisions on discarding or keeping batches, and support quality problem evaluations; Production Materials Checks: Inspect incoming materials against quality specifications and verify documentation compliance; Quality Documents and Reports: Complete and verify quality measurement data in appropriate sheets and systems, and report issues promptly; Create production stock labels; Quality Control Instruments: Calibrate and clean measuring instruments used in production or labs; Operate programs on CMM machines. 5S Standards and Communication: Ensure proper information sharing and report relevant issues to the Quality Manager; Communicate and cooperate with the Quality team to ensure product quality and hygiene; Promote effective communication within the team and with management; Engage with different business functions to foster a high-performance culture. Education and Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an ISO-certified Quality Lab within a manufacturing company, preferably in the FMCG sector.
