Posting Date:6 Nov 2024City:RozzanoLocation:Rozzano, IT, 20089Contract Type:Fixed-TermDivision:Energy Project SolutionsLevel of experience:Intermediate- RINA is currently recruiting for a Welding QC Inspector to join its team in CAGLIARI within the Energy Project Solutions Division.Mission - Execute the field welding inspection, surveillance and quality control activities on site, collecting the relevant records_ - Ensure that all welding operation are executed in accordance with the relevant codes and standards, and subsidiaries procedures. Quality Control/Inspection Test Plans_ TASKS - In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, iussing the relevant Quality records - Verify welding parameters and consumables during operation - Be awere of welding procedures and qualifications - Check welders qualifications - Check the availability of welding equipment consumables, pre-heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders (taking any corrective action required), the heat treatment record diagram - Ensure that all welding, heat treatment and any hardness testing are in compliance with the relevant codes and specifications - Perform pipes line up check, ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are in compliant to the correct specification and the material is in accordance with the specified material traceability requirements - Carry out visual inspections and issues relevant reports - Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all mechanical and testing related records are properly retrievble within the final As-built dossier - In case of subcontractors activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved QCP/ITP witnessing inspection and collecting relevant QC records Education - High School Diploma/GED in General Studies/Other Qualifications - Experience: - Several years of experience in construction, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position on construction sites. Safety Certification: - Certification in safety management or relevant safety training programs. Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and standards.
