BREAK THE ICE Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. Position: We are looking for MDS & Security Logistic Coordinator. The identified resource will be responsible for: - Ensure effective communication and alignment of objectives across software functionality, logistics, security, and compliance areas. - Focus on the balanced integration of software efficiency, usability, logistics, and security/compliance. - Act as the primary liaison among internal and external stakeholders, the IT Department, the Logistic Service Provider, and the development team. - Oversee and participate in the meetings to define the development of the MDS software, integrating logistics processes and ensuring that the final product meets stakeholders' needs and expectations. - Ensure efficient operation of the MDS system through effective data management, administrative tasks, and overseeing the integration of different operational areas. - Define with the Logistic Manager of each Venue and with the Security Team the guidelines for vehicles requiring delivery access at each Venue. - Definition, creation, and integration of the delivery windows for each Venue, and definition of delivery slots in accordance with the competition schedule and the setup and dismantling plan for each Venue. - Serve as a reference for everything concerning the MDS system and manage vehicle access pass requests for the logistics function. - Define, optimize, and negotiate with various stakeholders the cut-off times within which a delivery or pickup can be planned. - Collaborate with the Logistic Service Provider and each Venue Logistic Manager to allocate the proper resources of vehicles and personnel based on the delivery schedule. - Monitor deliveries during the competition period and the setup and dismantling periods. - Collaborate in creating the system's user manual and ensure maximum usability and traceability of necessary data while avoiding redundant information. - Act as a Vendor Certification Program champion, promote the program with all stakeholders, in collaboration with the Security team and all involved Functional Areas to maximize a streamlined delivery flow. - Ensure that the control procedures managed by the Security team, the loading and unloading operations occur in the shortest possible time, requiring the least possible use of resources, reducing queues, and waiting time.
