An exciting opportunity for the 2026 season has arisen for a Banqueting Operations Manage at Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, to support the Events team in providing excellent and personalised guest experiences, while leading and coordinating the banqueting teams.
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
* Provide an excellent and personalised guest experience according to our service standards.
* Lead and coordinate the banqueting team (outsourced).
* Organise and supervise all banqueting operations as planned by the Events Office and/or F&B Manager.
* Manage and develop staff in everyday operations according to our standards and procedures.
* Maintain a professional relationship with guests and colleagues.
* Anticipate guests' needs and handle guest complaints.
* Inventory and requisitions: assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering replacement deliveries.
* Comply with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in Italian and English; a third language is preferred.
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Professional knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & International wines.
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience within the same role in a hotel environment.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Passion for hospitality and ambition to grow professionally.
* Flexibility to work on weekends and a rotating schedule.
