WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT As a member of the Global Regulatory Affairs team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regulatory strategies for several products and substances, especially for the rodenticides portfolio, by applying entrepreneurial and sustainable development principles. You will provide regulatory and stewardship strategic guidance to our business units about active substances/products under responsibility, address related issues, and coordinate scientific support. You will design optimized global registration strategies to support the business goals, anticipating potential issues and trends. You will lead the implementation of registration plans and budgets, approve and coordinate related activities involving marketing, technical development, formulation, and manufacturing teams. You will contribute to registration dossiers, review content, ensure consistency, and make release decisions. You will coordinate scientific support using internal or external expertise and collaborate with country regulatory teams. You will interact and negotiate with governmental authorities to achieve regulatory objectives and manage product stewardship/sustainability programs. You will represent BASF in industry task forces and working groups. WHAT YOU OFFER Beyond a scientific background (Ph.D. or M.S.), you have at least 5 years of experience in agrochemical regulatory or product safety, preferably with global crop protection and biocidal regulations. You have technical and regulatory knowledge of pest control products, including rodenticides, insecticides, and disinfectants. You possess strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in global cross-functional teams and with external partners. You demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment. You can represent the company's position on technical, regulatory, or policy issues impacting BASF's portfolio. You are a problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit. You are IT literate and proficient with relevant software. You are fluent in written and spoken English. You are flexible and willing to travel internationally.
