PpWe are looking for a bFirmware API Developer /b to join our RD Hardware team, supporting embedded firmware development and interfacing with the software team through robust and high-performance APIs. /p pThe successful candidate will work on complex embedded systems with real-time operating systems, contributing to the technological evolution of our distributed monitoring products. /p h3Your role /h3 ul liDevelopment and maintenance of APIs for interfacing between hardware and software application layer /li liEmbedded firmware development on RTOS platforms (ThreadX) /li liDevelop C/C++ PC applications for firmware and hardware testing, debugging, and validation /li liCreation of tools for data management and collection, implementation of test protocols /li liManage the communication and integration between firmware and software systems /li liCollaboration with the hardware team to optimize system performance /li liFirmware debugging and testing on embedded targets /li liTechnical documentation of APIs, communication protocols, and firmware architectures /li liSupport to the software team in the integration of developed APIs /li /ul h3Your experience /h3 ul liDegree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent /li liProven experience in embedded firmware development /li liStrong knowledge of C and C++ for both embedded and desktop/PC applications /li liExperience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), preferably ThreadX /li liPython knowledge for API development /li liAbility to develop testing tools and applications for firmware/hardware validation /li liFamiliarity with ARM Cortex architectures and STM32 microcontrollers /li liExperience using debugging tools (JTAG, embedded debuggers) /li liKnowledge of main communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, CAN) /li liExperience with Xilinx FPGAs (Zynq) /li liKnowledge of API frameworks (REST, gRPC) /li liExperience with version control systems (Git) /li liKnowledge of signal processing techniques applied to monitoring systems /li liExperience in industrial or critical infrastructure environments /li liAbility to work in multidisciplinary teams (hardware, firmware, software, mechanics) /li liProblem-solving and analytical aptitude /li liGood communication skills to interface with different technical stakeholders /li liProactivity and autonomy in activity management /li liPassion for technological innovation. /li /ul pPrysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
