Location: Hybrid - Mrieħel, Malta or Remote from Europe
This position reports to the Head of Compliance and will play a key role in building a newly established compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct Business Due Diligence (KYB) on partners, affiliates, suppliers, and other third parties.
* Review and assess corporate structures, UBOs, ownership and control frameworks.
* Perform risk assessments for new and existing business relationships, including EDD where required.
* Support the onboarding and periodic review of third parties from an AML and sanctions perspective.
* Screen entities and individuals for sanctions, PEPs, adverse media, and other risk indicators
* Investigate and escalate high-risk findings and potential suspicious activity.
* Support the preparation of internal escalation reports.
* Assist with the development and maintenance of KYB, third-party due diligence, and AML policies.
* Support regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
What You Bring
* 2+ years' experience in Due Diligence, KYC/ KYB, AML, preferably within iGaming or a regulated industry.
* Hands-on experience conducting corporate due diligence is preferred.
* Hands-on experience with Worldcheck or a comparable tool.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and document AML risk
* High attention to detail and sound professional judgement
* Ability to manage multiple onboarding and review cases in a fast-paced environment
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
