Work Purpose:
Join the team of a reputable client operating in the civil construction and oil & gas sectors.
The Branch Logistic Coordinator will manage the movement of materials and resources at a specific project site, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Construction Manager to ensure prompt delivery of materials according to the site schedule.
- Manage all on-site logistics activities and related documentation.
- Monitor shipments and liaise with the Headquarters Expediting office.
- Receive, identify, and verify materials on site, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Enter shipments into the ERP system promptly and accurately.
- Ensure correct handling, storage, and distribution of materials on site.
- Supervise and coordinate storekeepers and support their performance.
- Report non-conformities in quantity or quality to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Required Competences:
- English language proficiency (mandatory)
- Basic logistics knowledge
- Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Ability to manage logistics activities on site
- Ability to coordinate with Construction Manager and monitor shipments
- Ability to receive, identify, and verify materials
- Ability to use ERP systems for tracking shipments and materials
- Ability to handle and store materials properly
Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical degree or equivalent
- 4–5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in project logistics or construction
