About the Job For a fast-growing sustainable design company, we are seeking a Head of Sales to drive wholesale and B2B expansion across international markets.
This is a strategic, revenue-focused leadership role responsible for building and scaling distributor and key account networks, managing a commercial team, and delivering measurable growth across wholesale, retail partnerships and e-commerce channels.About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Head of Sales who combines commercial vision with operational rigour.
You will own the wholesale and B2B go-to-market strategy, lead a team of Area Managers and back-office resources, and work closely with Founders, Marketing and E-commerce to align brand positioning with commercial execution.
The ideal candidate has proven experience with distributors, agents and department store relationships, is comfortable negotiating complex deals, and thrives in fast-paced international environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute a scalable wholesale and B2B sales strategy aligned with revenue and margin targets.Manage and grow relationships with distributors, agents and key accounts (department stores, large retailers, co-brand partners).
Lead and coach a commercial team.Drive market expansion in priority regions (Italy, Nord Europe, Far East), adapting commercial policies by territory.Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and pricing to maximize profitability and long-term partnerships.Collaborate with Marketing to activate trade marketing, pop-ups, co-branding and omnichannel initiatives.Monitor sales performance, margins and market trends; produce regular reportsfor Founders and senior management.Implement processes and tools to scale wholesale operations and improve distributor performance.Your ProfileBachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or related field.5+ years in senior sales/export roles with strong focus on wholesale and distributor management in product/fashion or related industries.Demonstrated success managing distributors, agents and large retail/key account relationships internationally.Proven experience leading and developing commercial teams.Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset; data-driven approach todecision making.Solid understanding of brand positioning and trade marketing dynamics.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.Willingness to travel frequently across assigned markets.Personal presence and credibility to represent the brand with top retailers and partners.Location Bologna AreaJob Type Full-timeTo apply for this position, we invite all interested candidates of any gender (L.******) to send their CV via email, specifying their consent to the processing of personal data (EU Regulation ********) and referencing the job posting.Sadhu thanks in advance all applicants and will contact candidates deemed suitable within 15 days of receipt.
