Sky Italia is looking for an enthusiastic and curious intern to support a research and testing project focused on LiFi (Light Fidelity) technology. The internship will involve assisting the engineering team in studying new wireless technologies, especially for connecting professional video cameras in a TV studio environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Research and Requirements Gathering
1. • Support the study of LiFi technology and its possible use in broadcast studios.
• Help collect technical requirements by visiting Sky Italia studios and talking to experts in the Communication and Infrastructure team.
2. Solution Research and Evaluation
2. • Assist in comparing different LiFi solutions based on performance, safety, and compatibility with existing equipment.
• Help understand how these systems could connect with the network and cameras used in the studio.
3. Lab Testing
3. • Take part in setting up tests in the Sky Italia technical lab.
• Help test speed, stability, and performance of LiFi connections under different conditions.
4. Real Studio Testing
4. • Support the technical team in installing and trying the LiFi system inside a real studio.
• Help observe how it works with moving cameras and real production needs.
