Join to apply for the Calibration Engineer - AUTOMOTIVE role at ALTEN ItaliaLocation: Torino, Milano, Modena, Reggio Emilia.Responsibilities include:Calibrating and testing on engine test benches for diesel, gasoline, CNG, hybrid, and electric engines;Vehicle calibration;Defining combustion processes (emissions, performance), safety, and drivability;Diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting;Post-processing, after-treatment;Programming vehicle tests;Dataset analysis, calibration control, and release coordination;Preparing comprehensive reports and technical documentation of tests.Requirements:Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields;Experience with bench calibration of diesel, gasoline, hybrid, and electric engines;Previous experience in engine testing and functional verification;Diagnosis of anomalies from bench tests, vehicle tests, or track tests;Knowledge of engines, after-treatment systems, and ATS is preferred;Familiarity with tools such as ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power;Nice to have: Matlab and Simulink;Good command of English.Why choose ALTEN?Technological challenges: We believe technology has great potential to improve our future.
