Ph3Overview /h3 pWe are gearing up for a project starting in the next 2 months and are looking for candidates interested in joining NSC in the not too distant future. We will reach out to you once we’re ready to start recruitment activities. /p pThe Onsite Support Engineer is responsible for providing end user support, hands and feet support and working with business users multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient support to business without impacting business. The role will require hands‑on experience of IT/desktop support. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liExperience with Microsoft desktop operating system and Windows application deployment, configuration, and management. /li liWindows Client Administration. /li liBuild and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks, and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure. /li liMaintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance. /li liIdentify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems. /li liIdentify potential changes and system improvements to present to technical teams for consideration and implementation. /li liCollaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s desktop computing environment. /li liWhen required, administer and resolve issues with associated end‑user workstation network software products. /li liReceive and respond to incoming calls, messages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems. /li liBasic experience in supporting network devices and servers in a business environment. /li liEnsure that work is carried out within agreed service levels. /li liExplain and document technical issues in a clear way to technical teams and business stakeholders. /li liHave a proven track record of working with technologies from Microsoft Intune (Autopilot), SCCM, VMWare Horizon, Intune, etc. /li liProactive and passionate about EUC, with strong interpersonal skills and excellent time‑management skills. /li liStrong capabilities in Windows 10 / Windows 11 support, migration deployment. /li liIf necessary, liaise with third‑party support and PC equipment vendors. /li liPerform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position. /li liHands‑on experience in end‑to‑end desktop/laptop life‑cycle management. /li liExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environment. /li liCommunication and analytical skills. /li liProvide technical support to clients on‑site, resolving hardware, software, and network issues. /li liInstall, configure, and maintain computer systems and related equipment. /li liDiagnose and troubleshoot technical problems using analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li liTrain and educate clients on how to use new technologies and software. /li liDocument technical issues and solutions for future reference. /li liMaintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with clients. /li liStay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pWork Experience: More than 24 months /p pSound knowledge of: /p ul liAdvanced knowledge in computer hardware /li liAdvanced knowledge in common software applications /li liAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft operating system /li liProficient knowledge in printer hardware /li liProficient knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting networking, wireless and VPN features of end‑user devices /li liProficient knowledge in ticketing software /li liMicrosoft Office Office 365 applications /li liPC/Laptop hardware /li liPC/Laptop peripherals, including printers /li liMobile devices /li liConference room equipment /li /ul pAwareness of: /p ul liActive Directory /li liExchange /li liApple OS /li liNetwork and server hardware and components /li /ul pIT qualifications may include: /p ul liA+ certification; baseline OEM certifications which include any of the following, depending on assignment: Dell Desktop/Laptop, HP Desktop/Laptop/Printer, Lenovo Desktop/Laptop, Lexmark Printer, IBM Printer, Server + /li liPC/Laptop OEM maintenance certification /li liCompTIA A+ certification /li liMicrosoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in desktop area /li liMicrosoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification /li /ul pOther skills: /p ul liAbility to advise and to present to one or more customer staff. /li liMonitor and control daily service call activity, utilization, inventory levels and service levels. /li liExceptional customer service /li liAdvanced knowledge in customer service aptitude /li liResolving technical problems with hardware, software and connectivity. /li liTroubleshooting customer issues while maintaining agreed‑upon service levels for customer contact and resolution. /li liParticipate in the configuration and support of internal systems. /li liAbility to work effectively with logistics. /li liAdherence to assigned schedule. /li liAdhering to documented policies, procedures and processes that are specific to the service. /li liClear and concise documentation of all customer interaction within appropriate CRM tool. /li liAble to function in a team environment. /li liMaintain knowledge levels as industry enhancements occur. /li liSupport installation and implementation of connectivity and high‑end systems products. /li liContinuous improvement of service delivery. /li liAbility to juggle time and resources to meet or exceed expectations. /li /ul pLanguage: English (written and verbal) and local language. /p h3Seniority level /h3 ul liMid‑Senior level /li /ul h3Employment type /h3 ul liFull‑time /li /ul h3Job function /h3 ul liInformation Technology /li liIT Services and IT Consulting /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
