A well-established professional services firm, is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Client Accountant for their Nicosia based offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, supporting audit processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting and reporting obligations. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience who are looking to further develop their professional accounting career. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Handle full set of bookkeeping for assigned clients.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
3. Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
4. Assist in audit processes, including liaising with auditors and preparing required documentation.
5. Support clients in meeting statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
7. Assist clients with accounting system queries and process improvements.
8. Maintain proper documentation and organized financial records.
9. Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
10. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or LCCI Higher qualification.
11. 1–3 years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
12. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting principles.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Good understanding of statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
15. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
16. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
17. Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
