Job Description DXC Technology is looking for Hadoop Administrator to join Analytics offering. Responsibilities Install, configure and maintain Hadoop clusters / ecosystem in Linux environment to ensure high availability, optimal performance and security. Deploy, manage and monitor Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager or Apache Ambari or Ganglia / Nagios. Monitor connectivity and security. Maintain HDFS and provide necessary support. Work closely with database, network and software developers to support data processing and big data applications. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in the role. Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig. Good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system’s capacity and bottlenecks.
