JOB AIMS & REQUIREMENTS
For our Marriott-Autograph Collection property, ,we are looking foratalentedOperationsManagerwho guarantees the regular operation and efficiency of the departments of his coordination and competence,with the target ofmaintainingthehighlevelof standard offered totheclients.
He reports directly to the Cluster GeneralManagerof the resortand replaces him in case of his absence, as a representative of the hotel, during events,meetingsand VIP’s welcome.Healsointerfaceswithalloperations teamsand related managers: room division, housekeeping, food & beverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Guarantees the running of the activitiesinto the resort, in line with the proceduresof the hotel and the company IHC
2. Guarantees the supervision of the quality of service and manages emergencies that mayhappenduring the absence of the Cluster General Manager
3. Coordinates, with the Maintenance Department and theRoom Division, the interventions of small and ordinary maintenance, supervising the correct keeping and compilation of the relative registers and annotations
4. With the Director he shares the trend of revenues, employment, the ratesappliedand the operating and qualitative resultsaligned with thebudget objectives
5. Collaborates with the Revenueteamof HQto manage all issues related to prices and price lists to be proposed in thehotel
6. Collaborates with the ClusterGeneral Managerin the drafting of the annual budget and in the supervision andsupervisionof the monthly trend
7. Supports the Cluster General Managerin the management of thecomplainsand oversees the main qualitativeand quantitative indices of its function and proposes strategies for the improvement of them
8. Takes care of relations and with any companies involved in outsourcing services, in collaboration with the Human Resources department of the headquarters
9. Carriesout periodic checks on the service providedby the F&B Department, compiling the relevant company checklists,in order toverify the correct application of quality standards and compliance with HACCP and food preparation standards
REQUIREMENTS
10. Proficient in English and knowledge of one or moreforeignlanguages
11. Previousexperienceashotel manager ordeputymanagerin5*resorts
12. Strongexperienceinfood&beverageor room division
13. Knowledge of Protel and Operaoperatingsystems
14. Directexperienceor knowledge of theSPAsector
15. Knowledge of the standards of Marriott brands
