**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a Production Analytical Chemist to be responsible for preparing test solutions, analysing compounds and reagents and conducting quality control tests. In this role, an individual will follow the standard operating procedures used for analytical techniques, protein conjugates, and nanoparticles, spectroscopic techniques (UV-VIS /Fluorescence), Immunoassay, and classical chemistry techniques.
**MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Serve as a technical resource in analytical techniques and analysis of data
- Suggest improvements for test procedures to achieve project objectives
- Ensure that all activities within the Production Department are carried out in an efficient and effective manner in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety Procedures
- Preparing test solutions, compounds, and reagents for conducting tests and product manufacturing according to established procedures and protocols.
- Determining chemical and physical properties using pH-meter, HPLC, conductivity meters UV-vis fluorescence spectroscopy, DLS techniques;
- Ensure that all batch documentation is completed accurately and in a prompt manner. Carry out Production review of completed batch documentation
- Investigate issues, analyse root causes and define resolutions
- Ensure that production output levels meet the required targets and quality specifications.
- Maintains a safe clean work environment
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry or Biochemistry or related scientific disciplines with 3 years or BSc degree with 5 years of experience in analytical labs
- Proven knowledge of analytical method development
- Proven experience in chemical processing quality assurance and quality control and protocol and report writing
- Theoretical knowledge and practical experience in conductivity meters UV-vis/fluorescence spectroscopy, DLS techniques
- Advanced skills in statistical analysis
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Solid communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Deep knowledge of spectroscopic and DLS techniques; protein conjugation
- Knowledge and understanding of protein conjugation chemistry and analytical techniques.
