We are looking for a highly motivated Legal Specialist to join our Legal Department (fixed-term contract).
You will collaborate in the management of all legal issues that arise within the Oberalp Group, in the preparation of legal solutions and for the drafting and review of contracts. A key task will be the supervision and coordination of the Group’s trademark protection.
In this key function, you will be the contact person for all departments in the Group (incl. affiliated companies) for legal issues relating to contracts, trademarks, competition law and legal advice in general.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, in particular: Distribution and supply agreements, trademark, patent and licence agreements, contracts for commercial agents, lease, franchise and purchase agreements, franchising agreements, service agreements, advertising, sponsoring and cooperation agreements
- Supervision and coordination of the Group’s trademark protection with the support of external lawyers; interface between our internal departments and the external trademark lawyers
- Monitoring of both general legal compliance and of GDPR compliance in particular
- Provide legal advice to the departments of the Group, on various topics such as product liability, general liability, protection of intellectual property and many other areas
- Support of colleagues in contract negotiations with business partners
**Profile**
- Successfully completed law degree
- 2/3+ years of work experience in an international company or law firm are an advantage
- Knowledge of the entire range of international business law with a focus on contract and civil law, commercial and distribution law; knowledge of trademark law is an advantage
- Good understanding of economic contexts, high solution orientation, ability to analyze, to draft pragmatic solutions and to make decisions
- Competence in advising, dedication, independent and self-reliant approach
- Business fluent in English, Italian and German
