OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for leading the entire recruitment process and closely partnering with Retail HR Business Partners to identify, qualify, and attract key talent for our retail stores. You will focus on recruitment for Italy and Southeast Europe Retail Stores, in addition to driving strategic talent acquisition projects such as DEI recruitment, Onboarding, and Employer Branding. As a TA Manager for Retail, you will manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing, screening, interviewing, to offer stage, with a passion for engaging candidates and hiring teams and delivering exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience.Your business acumen, passion for recruiting, and commitment to innovative talent strategies are essential. You will maintain an “always-on” Talent Pipeline mindset, proactively building and nurturing relationships with top retail talent, utilizing multiple channels to attract active and passive candidates, and anticipating future talent needs to secure the best retail talent efficiently and strategically.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the entire recruitment process including requisition approval, hiring manager briefing, job advertising, candidate sourcing, application review, candidate screening, interview strategy, and offer process; continuously work with the hiring teams to improve the process.Leverage advertising resources and candidate marketing strategies to create local, regional and global awareness to attract qualified applications for key roles.Use candidate databases (internal and external) and sourcing channels (university, LinkedIn, job fairs, etc.) to identify prospective candidates and invite them to apply, including cold calling prospects.Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications and suitability, followed by in-depth interviews evaluating skills, experience and culture add.Build and maintain pre-qualified and prospective candidate pools within the functional area you support.Continuously identify new candidate pools and leverage various channels (social media, job boards, referrals, networking) to proactively identify passive candidates and reach out to them.Advocate for and drive a diverse and inclusive recruitment strategy.Conduct weekly check-ins with active candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process for each role.Own responsibility for candidate and hiring manager experience and drive standards to ensure quality performance.Utilize knowledge of the adidas brand and offerings, benefits, compensation strategies, and programs to market adidas as an Employer of Choice.Lead additional TA initiatives such as onboarding programs, Employer Branding, and Employee Engagement Events.Plan and participate in strategic planning meetings with functional/market leadership and key business partners to understand requirements and build a strategy for effective recruitment activities.Support retail teams with TA upskilling, trainings, best practices, hiring events, assessment centers, and toolkit rollouts.Work with HR and Legal to ensure interviewing and hiring practices align with TA policies and local regulations.Drive strategic talent strategies with Retail Leadership to proactively build candidate pipelines within retail stores and teams.Participate in retail events including Retail Sales Meetings, Store Visits, Hiring Events, and District/Regional market meetings.Participate in onboarding trainings for new hires within Retail leadership to conduct TA topics.Utilize ATS effectively, document key actions, recommend improvements, and ensure data accuracy for reporting.Support the implementation of regional initiatives within your designated function or market.QualificationsMinimum of 4-6 years’ experience in international/retail recruiting, leading recruitment mandates for all levels through a broad range of sourcing channels.Specific expertise/experience recruiting for Retail business strongly preferred.Industry experience and knowledge of the sportswear, apparel and/or retail industry.Experience working with vendors, managing relationships and driving results through collaboration.Track record of end-to-end, holistic recruitment mandates (sourcing, assessing and hiring talent, including volume roles and key TA initiatives) to achieve hiring goals.Experience in offer negotiation; awareness of local legislation and compensation trends.International experience across geographies is a plus.Knowledgeable about managing diversity & inclusion from a talent acquisition perspective.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.Why adidas?Employees are eligible to earn an annual bonus based on company and personal performance.Hybrid working environment: 3 days in office/store and 2 days remote.
