Training & Development Senior Professional (Materials)
Location
Poland / Spain / Italy / Germany (preferable near one of our factories)
Responsibilities
- Define competency expectations per material with GMR, align with standards, engineering, and manufacturing needs; ensure consistency across HUBs and factories.
- Maintain competency matrices for materials experts; define skill levels and validation criteria; assess current vs. required competencies and identify gaps.
- Use PLM Windchill as the reference for materials data; align competencies, training, and certifications with approved documentation; ensure consistent usage across stakeholders.
- Define development paths and training structure (internal, suppliers, labs, external); manage providers and establish certification schemes.
- Plan and execute training and certifications in line with TrafoSchool standards; track completion and readiness.
- Track KPIs on competencies, training, and certification coverage. Report gaps, risks, and improvements while supporting local execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong background in materials engineering including qualification, insulation systems, testing, standardization, or reliability.
- Experience working with factories, materials experts, laboratories, or suppliers.
- Experience in skills and competence mapping or structured capability development.
- Experience coordinating technical training and certification programs.
- Working knowledge of PLM systems (i.e. Windchill) from a materials and documentation perspective.
- Fluent English.
