We are now embarking on a new chapter of our journey that will further boost CMCC’s global position in climate change research…Together! /p h3ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pThe web and science communication expert will support the REMHI Division, within the BAE research unit (behavioral adaptation and engagement). They will work in close cooperation with the scientific team to implement the communication and outreach activities for the projects of the division, with a specific focus on improving the user experience and the contents (texts and graphics) of the tools used by REMHI to inform researchers and stakeholders (e.g., Dataclime). /p pResponsibilities include the enhancement of platform contents (drafting articles/website pages/infographics, multimedia), developing additional content in coordination with involved research units, and improving content accessibility and user engagement. They will be based in Caserta, CMCC premises, and will work closely with all contributors to the Dataclime platform. They will also contribute to the development of educational resources to enhance the visibility and impact of climate services and products on Dataclime. /p pWe seek a versatile individual with a scientific background and familiarity with web development, graphic design, and video production tools, capable of producing engaging content. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and skilled in using various media to convey complex scientific concepts in an accessible and compelling manner. /p h3REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in scientific fields, computer science or in science communications /li liProven (at least 5 years) experience in web development and science communication /li liExperience in designing WordPress websites and themes with special focus on Elementor PRO and WP Bakery /li liExperience with web tools and languages like HTML, CSS3, SASS and a good attitude to learn new tools /li liExperience in collaborating effectively with scientists /li liA multimedia/multiplatform approach to designing and realizing interactive communication and dissemination products /li liProficiency in remote collaboration and office tools like GSuite, with a positive attitude towards team collaboration /li liFamiliarity with the most common Content Management Systems /li liFamiliarity with photo, audio and video production tools /li liBackground in managing editorial content /li liFluency in English /li liWillingness to travel in Italy and abroad to participate in meetings and videoconferences /li liAbility to work independently and in a team environment /li liAccuracy and good analytical skills /li liExperience with computer graphics software is a plus (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) /li /ul h3DURATION, COMPENSATION BENEFITS /h3 ul liThe opportunity will be issued both internally and externally /li liThe Web and science communication consultant will be based in Caserta CMCC office /li liAppointment period: 12 months starting from July 2025 with a gross annual salary range from 23K to 32K Euros, depending on qualification and experience /li liWelfare package for a minimum 12 months contract /li liFlexible working time as per internal policies /li liSupport during the immigration process, if needed /li /ul h3PROTECTED CATEGORY /h3 pBelonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
