OverviewHill International is hiring for a Project and Construction Manager for our main office in Rome, Italy. Presence on-site during construction will be required. As Construction Manager, you will ensure projects adhere to client requirements and business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project cost and timelines. Your responsibilities will span all project phases: planning, design/preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day on-site construction and handover activities.Administer project construction contracts and coordinate the efforts of contractors.Handle permitting and engage with utility agencies and inspecting authorities.Follow up on all contracted deliverables and ensure quality assurance of the work performed by contractors.Enforce the application of appropriate technical standards throughout the project.Oversee contractors\' scheduling, conduct and document construction meetings (including progress, safety, and inspections) and distribute meeting minutes.Coordinate the application and approval process for permits and approvals required for the project.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience5 years of construction management experienceExcellent level of EnglishProven construction management experience in the hotel/hospitality or retail sectorProven planning skills (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project)Experience with Power BI for project reporting with dashboards is a plusProfessional accreditation (PMI/PRINCE2/AGILE or equivalent, LEED, or BREEAM) is a plusDriver license requiredWorkplace is in Rome with presence on project sites required within ItalyDetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Project Management and Information TechnologyIndustries: Civil Engineering, Construction, and Business Consulting and Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
