Legal ActivitiesVolkswagen Bank is looking for a Legal Intern to join its Legal Department. If selected, the candidate will focus on legal matters and be responsible for the following activities:
Support in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents;
Support in updating corporate powers of attorney;
Support in managing relationships with external advisors (law firms, lawyers, notaries), ensuring compliance with internal procedures and contractual deadlines;
Support in managing litigation and passive legal proceedings;
Support in handling customer requests regarding reports made to Credit Information Systems (CIS);
Support in managing requests for banking inspections, both administrative and criminal;
Support in managing customer complaints, in coordination with other departments, and in handling customer appeals to the Banking and Financial Arbiter (ABF), the Insurance Arbiter (AAS), and reports/complaints to the Bank of Italy;
Support and assistance to the Head of Legal in their role as Data Protection Officer.
Position Requirements And Personal Characteristics
Knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework;
Degree in Law or equivalent;
Excellent knowledge of the English language;
Strong ability to managestress and work towards objectives;
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
