Cybersecurity & OT Service Engineer

We are looking for a Cybersecurity & OT Service Engineer to be hired with a permanent contract in Genoa within the Service Execution area.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting Cybersecurity and Digital installations both onsite and at customer facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT/OT devices (e.g. NAS, routers, firewalls, switches, and industrial PCs)
- Support and implement Cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443, NIS2 Directive)
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructures in industrial environments
- Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at customer sites
- Provide remote and onsite technical support (hotline and diagnostic services)
- Document interventions and ensure compliance with Siemens’ quality and security standards
Medium to Long Term
- Become the technical point of reference for Cybersecurity & Digital topics within the Service Execution division
- Contribute to the development of new service offerings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support customer awareness and training on OT security best practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical service, support, or system integration roles focused on Cybersecurity, IT/OT networking, or digital infrastructure
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical diploma
- Practical knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, patch management, access control)
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity frameworks and standards (IEC 62443, NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST)
- Understanding of IT/OT convergence concepts, including secure remote access and asset management
- Customer orientation, problem solving, teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel frequently across Italy, and occasionally abroad
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Proactive attitude, autonomy, teamwork, and focus on delivering results and customer satisfaction
