Your new role
As our new EHS Junior Consultant, you should have 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, Transaction, and Corporate Services, with a specific focus on Health & Safety compliance and due diligence work in the M&A sector, emphasizing EHS assessment, planning, and strategy.
Candidates can work in a fully hybrid pattern from our Rome or Milan office, in line with our flexible working policy.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence
* Execution of EHS compliance audits
* Execution of H&S Risk Assessments and review of H&S Plans
* Execution of ESG reviews
* Participating directly in assignments, interacting with clients and third parties (e.g., lawyers, advisors, vendors/buyers, regulators), requiring strong soft skills (negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem-solving and teamwork
* Proposal development and reporting in Italian or English

You will be part of a successful team composed of engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc., working together in an international network on projects related to contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk, and sustainability. About you

* A Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Knowledge of and familiarity with D. Lgs. 81/2008 and D. Lgs. 152/2006, ASTM standards
* Fluency in Italian and English, both spoken and written; proficiency in a third language (e.g., German, Spanish, French) is a plus
* Knowledge of decommissioning, REACH, and CLP regulations is a plus
