Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with analytical passion and effective communication skills to join our Containerboard Operations FP&A team. This role is a valued business partner who will collaborate, learn, and advise; providing financial and analytical support to the Monticello, MS facility and the Containerboard business. You will create value by providing actionable manufacturing analysis, cost analysis, forecasting and planning, and initiative tracking for operations leaders. Location / Team: The SFA will report to the Monticello Operations FP&A Leader. This is a predominately in-office role. Some hybrid flexibility may be possible after an onboarding period. Our GP Financial Planning & Analysis teams provide support to 125+ operating locations across the US, as well as at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA.

What You Will Do
* Develop financial plans and forecasts including sensitivity analysis to support the Toledo site.
* Prepare comprehensive financial reporting, consolidation of reporting and analysis, results and trends, variance analysis, etc. to support decision-making on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
* Perform manufacturing KPI analysis, cost analysis, investment analysis, benchmark reporting, initiative tracking, etc.
* Collaborate with a diverse team to identify opportunities, develop, and prioritize strategies that drive value creation and advance the current state.
* Learn, seek knowledge, share knowledge and partner across the business, operations, and multiple capability groups.
* Advance the Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture by applying and reinforcing the company’s Values
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Solid understanding of key financial and accounting concepts, cost accounting principles and business performance measures
* Desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment supporting multiple priorities with a high attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
* Contribution mindset: Team-oriented and life-long learner who collaborates effectively across a diverse set of stakeholders
* Systems and Tools savvy: You can source and work with large volumes of data from multiple systems and use MS Excel and other tools to perform analysis and develop a point of view
* Confident Communicator: Verbal and written skills that enable effective sharing of financial performance to non-financial stakeholders
What Will Put You Ahead
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related Business field of study
* Experience with NPV, IRR, and other valuation metrics
* Previous roles with business partnering requirements
* Experience with data analysis/visualization tools beyond Microsoft Excel (Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, VBA, Hyperion, SQL, etc.)
* Manufacturing industry and/or packaging experience a plus
