Together, we will build on our company’s long history and continue leading the way to a better world. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and manage the MEP design development process in collaboration with design consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders /liliOversee the preparation and coordination of detailed MEP design packages, ensuring alignment with data centre requirements (including power density, cooling loads, redundancy, and scalability) /liliReview and validate designs for compliance with local building codes, data centre standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier Certifications, ASHRAE), and client specifications /liliConduct value engineering exercises to optimize performance and cost without compromising design integrity /liliCoordinate closely with architectural, structural, and civil design teams to ensure fully integrated building systems /liliMonitor MEP design progress against project timelines and identify / mitigate risks or delays /liliManage design change control, RFIs, and ensure design intent is maintained through construction /liliProvide technical leadership during construction, including responding to design queries, reviewing submittals / shop drawings and supporting commissioning activities /liliEnsure sustainability and energy efficiency targets are met, working with relevant certification schemes (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) /liliInterface with client representatives, attend project meetings, and prepare status reports /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s preferred /liliChartered Engineer or working towards (e.g., CEng, PE) /liliIdeally at least 8–10 years of experience in MEP design, with multiple years in data centre projects /liliStrong understanding of critical infrastructure systems including power distribution, backup systems, HVAC, and fire protection /liliExperience with BIM, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD /liliExcellent project management, communication, and leadership skills /liliFamiliarity with international data centre standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute, etc.) /li /ulh3What we offer /h3ulliYour start at Exyte : Two-day onboarding event with new colleagues /liliAttractive location : Spacious workstations with height-adjustable desks /liliBuddy-System : Several weeks of close familiarisation with your colleagues in the team /liliWork-life balance : Possibility of switching to mobile working /liliCatering : Free coffee specialties and water dispensers on every floor /li /ulh3Contact /h3pExyte is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and is committed to equal opportunity and equal treatment.
