The mission of a Testing Engineer is to use engineering principles and mechanical skills to build innovative solutions to real-world material handling and conveyance challenges.
* Achieve client requirements through theory, application, and use of Habasit product line.
* Directly involved with the function and performance of each piece of equipment delivered.
* Test, troubleshoot, and develop new concepts on our products and material handling solutions.
* Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill project requirements.
* Generate reports reflecting significant test results and methodology.
* Provide 2D / 3D design support to design engineer team for design of new test equipment and products for test / prototype applications.
* Database maintenance of historical documentation for testing results.
* Create and execute a thorough test plan and document all results in a clear and organised method which can be shared with and comprehended by all team members.
* Support Account Managers and Application Engineers in the selling and implementation of conveyors.
* Follow all safety procedures and policies while on production floor.
* Exhibit teamwork and self-management.
What we look for
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
Proficient with using measuring devices, hand tools, and reading mechanical drawings
1+ years of Engineering experience in product testing or automation / industrial equipment production
Familiarity with all forms of conveyor line applications
Previous experience working with lean manufacturing concepts or principles
Knowledge of CAD 2D / 3D and Inventor
