Overview Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the purchasing team to deliver sustainable, cost-efficient sourcing for a high-volume air compressor manufacturing operation. You will translate strategy into team objectives, manage global suppliers, and drive performance on cost, quality, delivery and sustainability. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to simplify supply chains, innovate, and align processes with Atlas Copco culture.

Responsibilities Lead and develop a purchasing team (8 members) and translate strategic goals into actionable objectives Monitor performance against Atlas Copco’s cultural behaviors and KPIs in sustainability, TCO, delivery, quality and financials Simplify supply chains, rationalize suppliers, standardize components and drive innovation Manage global suppliers and support new projects; negotiate contracts, pricing and terms Support IT system integration and cross-functional process alignment; shift focus to value-added activities Analyze product specs to define sourcing strategies and ensure procurement aligns with forecasts and service plans Develop suppliers to meet evolving standards and regulations; build a vendor network delivering defect-free components at competitive prices Lead projects to improve profitability, quality, and time-to-market Evaluate suppliers using Atlas Copco standards (financial, technical, quality, logistics, cost) Qualifications Strong experience in sourcing within manufacturing Strong expertise in procurement and supplier management Proven leadership and stakeholder management Excellent negotiation and communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams) A challenging opportunity to grow both soft and hard skills Strategic involvement in decisions impacting sustainability and profitability Opportunity to contribute to the Product Company's growth and network across Atlas Copco Group
