Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead all relevant quality and cross-functional activities, with particular emphasis on the process gaps that might lead to customer claims and disruptions. /li liMonitor and drive plant quality activities, customer and supplier quality (DOA – Defect on Arrival), customer relationships, proactive continuous improvement activities, technical problem-solving leadership and activities (8D reports or similar formats), corrective action activities, and plant support activities. /li liSupport Product Service Support team to contain, investigate and apply corrective actions for customer field issues (DOF – Defect on Field). /li liRepresent the Voice of the Customer by cross-functional coordination of plant departments (production, manufacturing, purchasing, sales logistics) to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction. /li liMaintain and improve plant quality management systems consistent with customer (CSR) and ISO 9001 requirements. /li liTrack, maintain and report relevant quality KPIs (External PPM report, quality issues, Customer Scorecard, scrap, etc.). /li liParticipate in and support continuous improvement activities and projects (DOS, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, Red X, Black Belt, and ITS programs). /li liBe part of the Advanced Product Quality Planning process to ensure the safe launch of new projects, including PPAP activities. /li liMaintain and improve the implementation of the automotive core tools. /li /ul h3Job Position Requirements /h3 pbEducation: /b University bachelor degree - Bachelor Degree in Engineering /p pbProfessional background /b /p ul li5 years of experience in a quality manufacturing environment; /li liTier1 automotive component supplier manufacturing experience preferred. /li liStrong knowledge in AIAG core tools: FMEA / PPAP / APQP / MSA / SPC. /li liDetailed knowledge of ISO 9001. /li liKnowledge of problem solving tools methods (8D reports, 5 Why, …). /li liProficient in GDT. /li liKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing. /li liThorough understanding of process engineering principles. /li liComputer proficiency in MS Office, ERP (SAP preferred), PLM CompliantPro. /li liHigh proficiency in understanding math data, interpretation and part measurement. /li liEffective communication and high proficiency in reporting. /li liAvailable to travel as required (~ 10%). /li liEnglish proficiency required (B2/C1, written and spoken both). /li /ul pbConsidered as a plus: /b /p h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liAbility to handle multiple projects and deadlines. /li liAbility to influence, escalate issues and ideas, and persuade team and positively manage conflict and solving problems. /li liExemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated people management. /li liBusiness acumen. /li liStrong organizational and analytical skills. /li /ul p“If you are not contacted within 60 days after your application, the search should be considered filled.
