We were meant to fly. /p pAs a Combustion Module Owner within the Campania Engineering Center organization at Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business unit, you will have the prime responsibility for the coordination of development projects for New Product Introduction and Future of Flight programs with specific focus on Combustion and Exhaust Modules. /p h3Job Description /h3 pbEssential Responsibilities /b /p ul liTechnical Reference within the engineering organization for all the engineering activities relevant to the assigned Module /li liDrive the program through Engineering process, ensuring full respect of the objectives of performance, costs, schedule and quality /li liFocused on team engagement, problem solving, technical guidance and support /li liProactively contribute to the Operative plan definition and budgeting forecasting process /li liIssue the technical documents relative to the components evolutions and the specifications towards suppliers /li liPrepare and monitor the overall actions and milestones in line with the Operative plan /li liOrganize and manage all the technical reviews according to the plan assuring the attendance of the proper Reviewers; monitor closure of all the relevant action items /li liCollaborate with GSC to assure hardware availability in time to support program needs /li liEfficient communicate with the team to improve collaboration and eliminate waste. Share information and promote open dialogue /li liAssure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures /li /ul pbQualifications/Requirements /b /p ul liEngineering Master degree - Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred /li liPrevious proven and consistent experience in an engineering design team /li liFluent written and spoken Italian and English /li liClear thinking and diligent approach /li liSelf‑directed and motivated /li liWork Visa, according to local regulation, is required /li /ul pbDesired Characteristics /b /p ul liPrevious experience in Turbine Aero‑engines design is considered a plus /li liSolid background in either mechanical and/or aerothermal design /li liCreativity, curiosity and passion for technical challenge /li liStrong interpersonal and communication skills /li liEffective problem solving skills /li liSystem and open mindset, clear thinking /li liAbility to handle complex problems using high level of judgement to make decisions /li liAbility to offer new solutions outside of set parameters by using multiple internal and external sources to help arrive to a decision /li liCapable to work in multicultural environment, preferable previous international experience /li /ul pbWhat we offer /b /p pbSmart working and work life‑balance /b /p pAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work‑life balance.
